Choose Capi, choose a greener life

If you choose Capi, you choose a greener future.

We all claim to be sustainable and green, but those terms have become meaningless. In the end, it's all about honesty and taking real responsibility. Not shouting, but doing! Simple isn't it?

B Corporation.

Capi Europe is a certified B Corp™ company, which means we are committed to making a positive impact on the world around us. As a certified B Corp company, we meet high standards in social and environmental performance. The recurring recertification process challenges us to continuously improve ourselves.

The B Corp certification is an award for companies that want to be not the best of the world, but the best for the world.

PEFC certified

The wood fibres used in the Made in Holland pots are PEFC-certified, which means that the wood comes from a sustainable environment. This is how we treat our forests around the world sustainable.
(CU-PEFC-COC-884193).

Made to last a lifetime

With the purchase of a Capi pot you choose for the long term and can enjoy your pot for life. We only work with the best materials so we give a lifetime guarantee on our pots.

You get this lifetime warranty on pots from the following collections:
- Made in Holland
- Arc Granite
- Made With

Certified materials

The materials in our Waste colletion are certified with the Recyclass certificate. This shows that this collection actually consists of recycled materials! And the highest possible percentage: 98.6%.

Product development

The colors and textures of our pots are based on nature. For this reason, we have only the basic colors in our collections. By limiting ourselves in the choice of colors, we counteract overproduction and waste.

Climate neutral company

Our way to a fair CO2 neutral future.

Since 2020, Capi has carried the CO2 Neutral Product & Company label, meaning that both our company and our Made in Holland products are completely CO2 neutral. But the recent negative publicity surrounding CO2 offsets and certificates got us thinking. While our CO2 project is not mentioned, offsetting by, for example, planting trees thousands of kilometres away from Capi feels wrong; it is unverifiable. We want to do what we promise and want to control everything ourselves. This is why we have decided to stop the current CO2 neutral labels for now.

Does this mean that we no longer want to reduce and offset our CO2 emissions? Certainly it does! But in a reliable way, without questionable certifications.

We will continue to actively work on reducing our emissions and we will keep looking for sustainable solutions in the short and long term.

What does our carbon-neutral future look like? A local project? Perhaps an initiative of our own? Whatever it will be: it will be real, transparent and reliable. So that we don't just reduce and offset our CO2 on paper, but actually implement it
