Common names for the Citris Mitis include Panama orange, Scarlet lime and Golden lime. This plant has its origins in Asia but nowadays it is mainly cultivated around the Mediterranean. Citris Mitis produces both beautiful fruit and lovely blossoms and flowers.
Citris Mitis can be left outdoors for most of the year, preferably in a sheltered, sunny location. The tree can normally be put outside in early to mid-May. Be careful that direct sun does not burn the leaves. Give Citris Mitis lots of water at a time, to thoroughly soak the roots. Only water again when the soil has completely dried out.
